2.5 gallon

Is a 2.5 gallon tank too small to give my betta a friend?

Yes unless its ghost shrimp, which will most likely become snacks. You could give your betta a moss ball as a friend.

shrimp or a small Nerite snail.

Over hundreds of bettas die in their small, dirty cups each day. Only you can help them live. Research and then save them, today!

Agreed, shrimp or nerite snail.

Personally I have 2 nerites snails with my betta in a 10 gal, and the snails poop A LOT. its quite annoying. And I have to remove the snails to feed them otherwise my betta will eat all their food.
