Question Sorority tank numbers?

I would like to set up at 20 gallon long tank to do a sorority tank of bettas (no other fish) and I've been reading stuff everywhere and seems like most people talk about doing 6 bettas in a 10 gallon tank, so just wanted to know opinions on how many to put in a 20 gallon? Is there such thing as too many to spread the aggression? Obviously I don't want to over do my bioload, but would say 10-12 be too many?

I don't think you can have too many... at least I've never heard of it. OFL keeps lots of bettas in one tank, I'm not sure on the number but I know its LOTS lol

Feel free to message me any questions, I'll try to help the best I can!
Spike- Cockatiel
Rummy- Mini Rex Rabbit
Diz jr- Betta
Yoshi- Crested Gecko

10-12 would be perfect! And no you can't have too many to spread the aggression :) More fish means less aggression overall. Of course, some fish just will not live in a community tank and be civil :P

I've got 3 corys 2 otos 9 females and a snail. I think it's just right but I was just gifted a 29 gallon so they are moving on up. I plan on adding 2 or 3 more girls.

You need more otos and more cories. Those numbers are too low for shoaling fish.
