Ghost shrimp per gallon

What are everyone's thoughts on the number of ghost shrimp per gallon? I've seen everything from like 1 per gallon to 100 per gallon. I want to make sure I'm not overstocking my tanks, but somehow 1 per gallon sounds WAY too low. Would 3-4 per gallon be pretty safe?

I would say one or two per gallon but do not forget starting size.

3-4 is safe IMO. Remember they might breed!! I know little about ghost shrimp as I have never kept/researched on them but I think that sounds right.

Many of my scaly friends from my original tank from 2011 have passed, except for two! I am in the process of re-doing my tank. :)

They produce hardly any ammonia at all so I think 1 shrimp per .5 gallons is fine.

Over hundreds of bettas die in their small, dirty cups each day. Only you can help them live. Research and then save them, today!

Fry of ghost shrimp always starve in aquariums. They eat food that is easy to have in ponds almost impossible to get in aquariums. Excerise is another impirtant factor.
