Question Black Mystery Snails

Ok, so, i'm new to this site, and don't know muck about bettas, but I just wanted to know if Black Mystery Snails (the ones from Petsmart) can live with betta fish?

Also, I bought a betta baby that looks more like an adolescent now, but can you give me any tips on how to help him grow? (btw his name is Red lol)

we've got four mystery snails (two ivory, one black and one blue) and they all live in tanks with bettas. there haven't been any problems at all.

So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
'Cause there's bugger-all down here on Earth.

Perhaps it's just me, but I've had TERRIBLE luck with black mystery snails from Petsmart. They just. Keep. Dying. Not the blues, or the golds, no! Just the black ones. But that's just me.

I had an issue with mystery snails in my betta tank... I bought one and put him in tank with my betta. He was super happy and started eating right away, but then my fish discovered him and circled around him like he was prey. Then all of a sudden, she bit off one of the snail's tentacle! He went back into his shell, but came out 30 seconds later, and started to eat again. Then my betta came again, and ate his other tentacle! Then I had enough and I took him out. I had a spare critter keeper and put him in there. But he is doing fine now, and I'm never putting him back in with my betta...

It might vary from fish to fish, aquarium to aquarium. If it's kind of on the small side a fish may feel like it needs to be more protective of it's home. I have one single mystery snail and he's been awesome.
