Smile Tank Mates

I know that I am probably going to get alot of grief for this or something. But can anything live with a betta male in a 1 gallon tank? If so what?

Sadly, a 1 gallon is hardly big enough for just a single betta....far FAR too small for any sort of other creature. Sorry. :/

Thats ok thank you for being sweet about it. I know that it is not the ideal living situations but I have owned bettas for a long time and every single one has lived to be a good age and are happy. At least its not a half gallon tank right?

I will admit, in my personal option based on my own years of experience, those extra couple of gallons really do make a difference....but hey, so long as its heated and maintenance is kept up with, a 1 gallon is doable. Like you said yourself, not entirely ideal, but a little better then what it could be.
To each their own really. xD
