A little worried

I may be a bit paranoid, but I always feed my betta and while distracted I drop an extra pellet and sometimes an algae wafer for my amano shrimp.

I'm just a little worried that since I do not see them eat it and stuff, if my amano shrimp are going after it and eating it?

Because I drop it near them but they seem to ignore the food lately, or perhaps they get it later. Sometimes I cannot find them and I drop it in a corner, will they find it if they are hungry?

If you can, drop down some zucchini. Chances are they are eating any left overs that are chilling in the bottom of the tank - if the betta doesn't eat it Some signs of the betta eating more than he should is a big belly. I've had a female do that.

Breed for the breed, not for the money; the words any REAL breeder would understand.

You must know nothing in order to know all, for all is nothing and nothing is for all.

haha no I don't think the betta gets to it, I drop it under plants where the shrimp usually hide and always at night when I'm about to turn the light off, I think the shrimp got to the food last night because I see molted skin where I droppped the pellet. But I'll try the veggie method XD
