Bettas and Golden Medakas?

Hi all I'm currently cycling a my new 100L (25gal?) tank and will be looking to start adding fish in the next couple of weeks (hopefully!!)

My question, would a male Betta and Golden Medakas make good tank mates? I'd also like to have a few algae eaters or bottom feeders as well, but haven't decided on type yet..

My tank is my profile pic, so if you can see it clearly enough, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! lol

Thanks much

I like the bronze and pepper cory's, but it also depends on what's available here in Adelaide The phantom glass catfish are also something I'm considering, fascinating little things!

A it might be a risk. They sound colorful. I would say try it. Keep an eye on them. And have a plan B. Add them in. Keep the male in a floating breeding box for a bit.

Yeah, they are colourful, range from pale almost white to yellow. Here's a link to what they look like

Less colorful one will most likely work.
