Female betta tankmates?

Hello!

I'm posting this for someone I know who has a 10 gallon tank.

She currently has 1 female betta, and 7 glowlight tetras. The betta's fins are now ripped, so she thinks that the tetras are nipping. Because the tetras might be nippy she's decided to give those to me, and to get something else with her betta. Here are the stocking options she's thought up so far:
6 female bettas. I told her that it could end up a blood bath considering she has a low-moderate planted tank, and not very many other hiding spots.

4 Otos,
3 spotted rasboras,
1 Female betta. I told her that otos do best in groups of 6+, and I'm not sure about the rasboras, though those are hard to find in our area.

6 Panda cories,
3 Endler's,
1 Female betta. I'm wondering if this might be too overstocked?

She wants a small community tank, without tetras, and she can't upgrade. Are any of those okay? If so which is best?

Thanks!

I currently have three tanks:
10 gallon with a male betta.
55 gallon (future platy breeding tank) with 2 bolivian rams, 2 albino BN plecos, and 9 glowlight tetras.
65 gallon (future South American biotope) empty. Waiting to replace bottom

In fish keeping if something seems like a bad idea there's a good chance it is!

IMO i would use the money to first buy a bunch of plants(live or not) to make hiding spots. I think she is having problems with tetras the i think she should stay away from them for a while with that specific betta. Stay with in 6 or less number of fish

I would try, If she's open to it:

3 Nerite snails
3 shrimp
3-5 fish of some sort that stay smaller than two inches and don't get any semi aggressive and aggressive fish.

Well she got 3 endler/guppy hybrids Sunday, the first batch all died (pet store's guarantee is only good if your parameters are good), and then tonight she went back and got 3 more to replace the first 3. She doesn't want shrimp, I've asked her about those. She's gotten her heart set on Panda corys, and I don't think I can change it. If you don't think that'll work I'll talk to her, but she won't be happy about it lol.

Panda cories are sensitive to water parameters and should be introduced to an established, stable tank.

Last time we tested the stats were:
Ammonia - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 10
pH - 6.4
The tank has been set up for a few months.

Turns out the Betta thought the endler/guppies were live food I heard screaming about the Betta this morning, I ran in to see what was going on, and the Betta was eating one of them whole! I'm not sure if this Betta is going to be okay with any tankmates...

She's a typical veil tail I think, but she's about 3" long! She killed a lone peppered cory a while ago, then she ignored the glowlight tetras unless they attacked her (they were nippy in the smaller tank), and now she's eaten all but one of the endler/guppies! The last one is normal guppy size though, not as small as the others, so he may be safe.

I'll have to get one. I might not be able to post one until tomorrow, because normally the owner of the fish goes to bed early.
