Smile Kuhli Loaches

I likely mispelled the title... I wanto know if the loaches are compatable with Betta, Guppies, Cories, and Neon Tetras... That is basically all that I need to say. They will be in a 29 gallon. 10 guppies, 1 girl betta, and 6 Neon Tetras, as well as 1 Corie though that will change soon to 4.

And after I roar at you, may I entice you to look at me fishies! http://www.bettafish.com/members/emeraldmaster-albums.html

In theory yes. You have a mixture of hard and soft water fish, though, so someone is going to be in less-than-ideal conditions.

Loaches are interesting fish... I hope you have sand substrate for them, though.

I do, it a naturaly planted tank! Do you think that the cories will compete with the loaches for food? I am told that they be scavengers...

I drop NLS pellets in my brothers tank for his loaches. They are scavengers.

My brother had a Molly die and disappear in that tank. The loaches cleaned the carcass right up... He feeds them wardly flakes so I'm sure they needed the meat. I can't believe they've lived five years in his care.

They are more active and hide less since I've been caring for them. I don't know what cories eat, but loaches need a meat based diet.

Cories do too. They won't fight for food, but they do eat the same stuff, so increase what you feed the cories so that the loaches get some too. :)
