Will a Bristlenose eat string algae?

I have a npt tank that's recently been taken over by string algae. I've been thinking of getting a bnp for awhile now since I also have green algae in my other tanks. Will they also eat this gross stringy algae? I know brown algae is something you gotta scrub off yourself and I was wandering and hoping against this stuff being the same way.

I think that stringy algae is one of the awful ones that nothing eats, but I could be wrong. I hope I am, for your sake!

I am pretty sure Amano Shrimp will eat it...but not sure what else. My Otos do not touch it. :/
