Help me make decisions please

So I have a Double Tale HM betta and I want to either split the 10 gal tank and get another betta or get 1 or 2 dwarf frogs.

What's the best to do?

I was going to do that for mine, but since I can't have the frogs I'm getting another betta for my 10 gallon. :P I think you should get the frogs, that way you have some variety and wouldn't need a divider.

10 gallon:
1 Dwarf Gourami - Balin
8 Neon Tetras
1 Otocinclus

RIP Plagueis.

I would get another male. ^.^ lol

If you get an ADF, you'll have to QT them for at least 3 months... Most ADFs have an illness which can be spread to others if introduced. Fatal...

Over hundreds of bettas die in their small, dirty cups each day. Only you can help them live. Research and then save them, today!

Get dwarf shrimp, like cherry shrimp!! You could easily fit twenty or thirty in there and still have room for them to reproduce. the betta might like snacks though.

I agree with djembekah: Dwarf shrimp are great (I have 80+ in a divided 20 long with three Bettas).

However, I feel like a broken record. To be successful, the tank must be mature (cycle completed for at least two months). There must be lots of cover which means a heavily planted tank with live plants. You have to buy shrimp food or break up algae wafers as they won't eat Betta food.

You could try an Amano, too. They need lots of cover, too, but have great personalities and you can keep them with dwarf shrimp.
