Snail QT?

I'm hoping to pick up a snail or two for my 10 gallon today (don't worry, it's fully cycled and has twice the filtration it actually needs), but I was curious... how do you QT snails? Do they need much space? I know they're SUPER messy so would it be bad to put them in a small QT tank? My issue is that I don't want them to bring anything icky into my tank, so I want to make sure they are healthy before plopping them in with the girls.

I honestly know very little about snails, so any advice would be welcome.

What kind of snail are you going to get? Some are way messier than others.

As for QT, I have no idea, sorry XD

I was looking at getting either mystery snails or nerite snails. Suggestions?

Nerites have a much lower bioload and are great for algae cleanup. I found that my mystery snail liked to eat my plants.

Oh no! Well that's not cool, I'll definitely go with Nerites, then. I also read they can't breed in freshwater, only brackish, so I won't get an overpopulation of them. ^_^
