Cory Cats...

I was wondering... Can a cory cat fit with a male betta fish in a 2.5 gallon?
Thanks :)

Decided to get back into Betta's since Squirt died. It's been a few years but I'm excited

In a 2.5 gallon, no. First of all, a 2.5 gallon is just big enough for 1 betta. Second, cories do best in groups of 4 to 6 as they are schooling fish.

In a ten gallon you could put 1 betta and 6 cories.
