20G Long Stocking

With my sorority gone; I just placed in a male betta.
What can I add in with? There is hardly anyone there.. lol

- 1 Male Betta
- 2 Female Guppies
- 4 Albino Catfish (Cory)
- 2 Mystery Snails

What can I add in? Cherry Barbs? No more guppies, please... That was what introduced disease. :/

The water is hard, and the pH is 7.6-7.8.

Thank you! :D

What filter are you running? Is it planted? What's the temperature?

Oh, yes. Forgot about that.

It's 78F; heated of course. Lots of anarachis, java moss, and hornwort. The filter is an AquaClear 30.

Not rosy barbs, they get too big and aggressive. Harlequins would work though. Ember Tetra's are great as well if you can find them/order them. Glowlight Tetra are great with betta as well.

Hate glowlights... I don't like those fish, with the unnatural colors injected in them. :/

Ooh, I searched those up! I hope my LF shops have those. How many? I suppose 6-8 is a good number.

Oh, sorry! I misread, bad vision is killing me. T.T

I searched those up too, not a big fan. hehe

And the ember tetras was what I was talking about. Are they more vulnerable to disease like feeder fish?

Ah okay, yeah I like Glowlights in person, they don't look as bad haha. but that's neither here nor there.

Ember's are great! They aren't as well known in the trade, not sure if it's just difficult to breed them or not but they're just as hardy as any other fish. And I'm pretty sure that nothing is as susceptible to disease like a feeder fish....well thats not true lol I just exaggerate. But they're good fish to get! They're good natured and small so you could easily get 10 in your 20 no problem!
