Are fancy guppies safe tankmates for females?

I am concidering starting a sorority in a 10 gal tank, and was wondering if fancy guppies were safe for them? I know that males can confuse them for other bettas because of their colorful tails, but will they be ok for females? Also, if so, what's a good combimation of bettas and guppies? I'd like to get 3-4 or more bettas, but a good amount of guppies too. If guppies aren't safe, then I was gonna get glofish, so same thing with the ratio.

If you don't know for sure, I wouldbe okay with aguess or discussion. I think it would be okay, maybe I should try it with a few and if they act agressive, then that would be a no, unless its just that betta.....your thoughts?

You could try it and see how they do. I think it depends on the presonality of the betta, whether male or female.

Well I love guppies so if they don't work out together, then I would go ahead and put them in a tank of their own.

I would go ahead and try it and if it doesn't work out then you can separate them.

Thats a good idea to have a plan before you get your fish.

Thanks! I have had fish a lot before, but decided to start up my tank again, and I always liked bettas.
