female bettas and amano shrimp

Hi! It's been a while...
I would like people's personal experiences with keeping female bettas with amano shrimp.
I'm going to be getting an angelfish for my 55 gallon and I was told it would most likely eat my shrimp once it got big enough. So I'm thinking of moving my shrimp to my 10 gal with my sorority... The shrimp are about the same size as the bettas, so I feel like there's a smaller chance that they would eat them, but they also wiped out my whole pest snail population in their tank, so they do like eating living things.
Has anyone had any experience with keeping larger shrimp like amanos with female bettas? Thanks!

Hey stranger!! welcome back

Yeah I never had issues with shrimp and my females; they couldn't care less about the little buggers even after wiping out my pest snails as well! As long as you have adequate hiding places for them, they should be totally fine, especially Amanos since they are so much bigger and stand up for themselves ^_^

Thanks for the welcome!

Ok, cool. Thanks. I do have a lot of fake and real plants in that tank so I think they will do ok. It's much smaller than the 55 gallons they're used to, though.

Yeah, they should be fine in the smaller tank as long as you feed them enough ^_^
