Where do i come up with stupid questions?

Well i got an ADF a week ago and everything is going good. There was a little aggression at first, but nothing happend and all is calm. The ADF does bully my corys for their food, so that gets annoying.

Now to the stupid questions....

1. Compatibility wit a black ghost knife fish. I seen those at petsmart. Pretty cool looking fish. (I already know the answer) Just curious on everyones take on it.

2. Sorority w/ 1 male. I know i know. When im not busy at work i think up some crazy stuff. And think to myself, "i wonder what others would think of this stuff". lol.

Now, to throw it out there. I got my eye on a 36G Bow tank by Aqueon at petsmart for like 140 bux. lookin to purchase it in may/june time frame. 75% chance it will happen.

Well thanks for you time and putting up w/ my stupid questions.

My Bettas!!!!!

I don't know anything about black ghost knife fish, except that they are AMAZINGLY COOL looking.

Do you mean keeping females with a male? A big no-no unless you have some massive tank with billions of hiding spots, and an experienced betta keeper (I mean years and years and years worth of experience). I have seen people keeping males with females in small tanks, but trust me, it is safest to keep males separated.

yes they are cool looking fish. i want one.

yes. females with males. the scenario that was going through my head was a 50+ G tank with, yes (alot of hiding spots) im talking u cant see anything in the tank. like my intro to this thread, may is the month where i might buy i big tank. i mentioned 36g buy may is a good payday month for me. thank you marine corps. but ya. it just might happen.

not saying im going to do what my crazy mind projects, but its just a thought.

I'm not sure but BGK, but I do know that they need big tanks (I think around 75 gallons), and you can't keep them together (something about electrical charges). I think they're okay, though. They spend a lot of their time hiding during the day. Just make sure you have a big enough tank.
