2 Females in a 5 Gallon?

I'm just wondering if this is possible. I have Hattie in a 5 gallon, and Leela in a temporary 1 gallon. Hattie is spunky and show-offy, and Leela is very quiet and reserved and shy. Would this be okay? I know 2 females have lived together before. As long as there's not a lot of bickering?

Not a good idea. I would not recommend it at all...

Alright, thanks. :) I was just wondering if it was do-able or not.

It'd be fine to divide it, but not to put them together.

I think I read somewhere if girls are going to be together at all, there has to be 4 or more... only if they have experienced living in a community before?

Nope, I know quite a few people with 2 females who get along just great. Though I'm guessing it's not very common.

The thing with bettas are they are VERY territorial fish. It might seem like they're getting along and than one day you look in the tank and you have dead fish. For a sorority tank, it needs to be a 10G or more with 4-6 females to level it out. It's a huge misconception that females aren't as aggressive as males, but they can be even more aggressive.

I have heard of people doing it before ( and working) but they watched them carefully... but i would not do it because when you turn your back one day you could end up with shredded fins or worse
