African Dwarf Frog

I keep trying to feed my dwarf frog but my betta Quartz keeps eating it. so much so that he's fatter than he's ever been and I find myself having to not feed him for a few days because he's gotten too big.

Is there any way I can feed my frog without the betta eating it? I'm trying to feed it but if this continues then I'm afraid the frog is going to starve to death.

Try getting a small container with the frog in it. Feed him separately in there. How much your betta is eating is a bit concerning. They should only be eating 3 pellets every day (sometimes skip a day in the week so they can digest).

I tried that this morning. The little guy wouldn't eat anything so I ended up putting him back. If I try again do I leave him in there until he eats the food?

I also order a fish net would it be possible to catch the frog and feed him in the net while in the tank?

The net doesn't sound like a good idea. What are you feeding him exactly? Maybe he doesn't like the food. Try buying some blood worms (frozen bloodworms or dried work too). They love those! I would try putting a cup/container with the frog in it and let the cu float in the tank so your Betta can't eat the food, and the frog thinks he's in his tank still.

Are you sure I shouldn't use the net? I had looked up a video and the net seems to work.

I've been trying to feed him some freeze dried blood worms and some frog pellets I bought.

I guess trying the net could work too.

I usually wait til the light is out and the other fish are vegging to feed my frog. I normally have to stick my hand really far into the tank and dump the pellets right in front of him cause he's derpy like that.

ADFs can't see well at all. You could try netting him, or using a betta cup on him (or the betta) to isolate them.

He's probably having a hard time finding the food. Like kevinap2 said, they don't see too well so it takes them time to find the food.
