Candy frogs?

I just visited a local pet store for the first time and didn't see and african dwarf frogs, but did see some "candy" frogs... would those go well with a betta?

From my understanding, candy frogs are African Clawed Frogs that have colors injected into them. They definitely aren't safe.

Could you post a picture?

I don't have a picture. Why would someone inject a poor lil frog? They were brightly colored like neon tetras, with a blue light. Pink, green, and yellow.

Star Lollipop is right, "candy frogs" are African clawed frogs that have had color injected into them. They inject them so they look more "appealing" I guess. I really don't understand the reasoning and it's extremely cruel IMO. But regardless, African clawed frogs aren't good tank mates for bettas.

Tcas it is extremely cruel in anyone with a souls opinion.

But they are correct, they are ACFs just died with colors that go away over time.
