Arrow 10 gallon, all alone?

hi, i'll have a betta fish soon, with tank mates:

6 neon tetras
3 ghost shrimp

it's a 10 gallon. i want to leave my betta in the tank for like, just one month. then i will add the tank mates. but, will he be lonely in there?

Nope. Bettas love space. I've had mine for almost a month now in a 10 gallon by himself and he loves it,

Just think of Bettas as the bullies of school. They won't be "lonely" if there is no one around. They don't get together well, and can only be fit for certain species. He'll be fine alone in his 10 gallon by himself. That way, he'll have every inch of tank to himself.

Pleae be cautious though, some bettas have eaten ghost shrimp!!!

Hmm, well I have a lot of fish...

And some have even eaten Neon Tetras. I have a Betta that attacks ghost shrimp, but not the Cherry Shrimp.

They love being alone! He will attack tank mates (probably) and kill them!

Hello, it's Frogipoi. If you need any help, fonts, or pixel bettas, please PM me. Thank you and good day.

You might want to consider setting up the tank the other way around. Set up your filter and everything, and cycle the tank using the fishless method. You can find instructions easily using google. After the cycle is completed, you can add all of the neon tetras at once since the bacterial colony will be large enough to handle all of the fishs' waste. Personally, I would put in pygmy cories instead of neon tetras because neons can rip betta fins to shreds. Cories will stay at the bottom and not attract as much negative attention from the betta.

If you put the betta in after the neons or cories or whatever you choose, he is less likely to be aggressive toward them because the tank is not yet established as his territory.
