Fancy Guppies

I have wanted these since I got into the fish hobby so I was wondering are these fish compatible with female bettas? I can't imagine they would be but hopefully someone can prove me wrong lol.

well i dont think its a problem for female bettas to be in with guppies. also i say that because i have a female betta with feeder guppies and they are fine not even any pecking or tail biting.

That depends....size of tank, hiding places, aggression level of the females

I keep guppies and bettas together in my heavy planted tanks- both male and females of both species and have never had any problems.

Male Bettas have never viewed or mistaken a fancy tailed guppy as its own species and felt threatened or a female Betta nipping fancy guppy tails etc...however, the Bettas happily gobble-up as many guppy fry that they can catch....but that is why I have the guppies lol...for the Bettas.....lol...

well true, but my tank is not heavily planted i have 1 female betta in there and she is the very aggressive toward other bettas and almost any other fish that i can think of. she will nip and fight. but now that she is in the ten gallon tank she is the happiest and nicest betta i have seen. also i should add that i only have two guppies and they one is a boy and one is a girl and the female guppy is pregnant and i dont know when she will give the belly up, but thats besides the point. my one female betta is also very distracted by the new crowntail betta that i have right next to the tank.
