Red face 2 Female Bettas in with freshwater Mollies?

I know I should know this...But I have never tried it before.. I have a 10g freshwater tank with 7 sterile mollies and I was wondering if female bettas would do okay with these guys..?

2 females wouldn't work, one would just beat up on the other, but with those other fish you wouldn't be able to add the 4 minimum girls for a sorority (6 would be best in a 10, my 4 girl sorority went south and so have slot if others). Theoretically if you had the three perfect girls with the absolute perfect personalities you might be able to do 3 girls plus the other fish, but I still think it is overstocked

Your tank is already overstocked no need to add to that. You would need more for a sorority. At least 6 to spread out the aggression.

I really dont think my tank is over stocked at this point.. I know many Mollie breeders that usually have 12 to a 10g.. And the cycle is always perfect.. And another thing is these two females have always been in the same tank as a pair since they were fry with no problems...
But how about this.. I take out the 7 mollies and add the girls with 2 others.. (thats usually the number I have in my smaller sororities)

4 females (if they aren't too aggressive) Is just fine for a 10 gal (If the mollies leave, of course). If I were you, I'd boost it to 5. I read some where that odd numbers helps for the females to pick an alpha female (I could be wrong, that's just what I read.)

If guppies are jewels, than Bettas must be rainbows

Okay. I'll pick up 3 girls at walmart or something because all my other sororities are doing fine.. And the females in my latest spawn are all sold... :]
