Tankmates for Eustice

Can anyone recommend what kind of fish would do well with my Eustice? He's a very passive guy and calm, except for when it's feeding time!
I was thinking about getting either corys or platies, so any input would help. The tank is a 14 gallon, btw.

1 Albino Bristlenose pleco! 5 cories, and 3 platies would not be overstocking much, if at all. Shrimp too!

I only have 1 betta left, but he's a cool blue marble!

Do Platies/Corries require anything more extensive than the Betta?

PLaties eat flakes, cories eat algea/shrimp wafers. That easy! If you do the albino BN pleco, he needs wood. Do not get long finned platies, as they look like a betta.

Doesn't sound too bad, I'm making a run to the pet store in 2 hours or so for a thermometer. Maybe I'll pick some buddies up for Eustice.

I love cories! Great little fish. You can try them out, they eat -->left over<-- foods and algea/shrimp wafers and other live and frozen foods. And they are best kept in groups of 5 or more. Also. If you do get platies, make sure to get only females, as they breed like crazy and the males can get aggressive over competition for the females.
