Question algae on shell?

I know I already posted this, but my snail is very active and he gets algae growing on his shell. Getting another snail to clean him is not going to work. Is there any kind of bath I can give him? Thanks.

So it's not just me? Thats a relief. I don't have the room for another snail so that is why I was wondering if there was some kind of cleaning bath I could give him.

Have you tried gentle manual removal.....some of my larger snails will get some algae growing on them on occasion....and the shrimp will hitch a ride and clean it off.....not all of it and the algae has never seemed to be a problem for the snails.....

I have never tried it...but I wouldn't think it would hurt if you are careful and not keep it out of water for too long....but like I said I have never tried it so not sure.....
