Got a young king in with sorority...

Knocked the 4-way over while moving the wheel rig and didn't see him slip out, he looks like one of my blue girls and isn't as big as my oldest four.

He's been free in the tank for hours and other than getting run off the lawn by the Ch.Algae he's been pretty peaceful.

Didn't even chase the two cm male molly who nipped his fin for play.

He's clearly a betta, attention to stuff and full tourism exploring, but he's not even flared.

Anybody have community King betta?

ah well

Heh, Sheen the not-in-charge-but-doesnt-care started courting him, she's much quicker than he is. No damage on either, he seems to "lumber" along even this young. Sheen started nipping at anybody that got too close to him tho so I put him back in the basket, mostly because Sheen would have hurt herself trying to get out to him XD.

If he is not aggressive you could leave him in there. There are some cases like this. But watch very closely for aggression! Also, take the chinese algea eater out. THey can grow to a foot long, and they suck the slime coat off your fish, making them highly susceptible to diseases.

I only have 1 betta left, but he's a cool blue marble!

Yah, the Chinese is just on "lease" to keep this tank clean... not going to have it in my larger tank.

Its not that the King was agressive. I have a girl named Sheen (silvery sheen, same as Silver had and was named for) who's just waaay to aggressive towards him and nipping at anybody that gets near her new boyfriend...

funny how their personalities come out.
