Question Male and female together?

Can I put a female in my 10 gallon tank with my male?

The reason I am asking is because I was given a female CT, but I don't have a proper tank for her yet.

She is in a vase temporarily.

So I thought if they were compatible I could just put her in my already set up tank.

Awww! Well the vase should be fine for now. :) I'm sorry, males and females should not be kept together. ;/ You could invest in a divider, and split the 10 gallon in some way so the girl could still be in there, but not be hurt or accidently bred by the male.

Sherlock Holmes - Male VT Lance Sweets - Male HM
Mirage - Male DBT Rocky - Male HMPK red copper
Daisy - Female HM Moonlight - Male HMDBT
Captain - baby betta
Gryffindor - very sick rescue HMDBTPK

^ What Bettaluver said.

I have my 10 gallon divided... my females got kicked out into other tanks, though because my Gourami got bigger and needed more tank space. ;)

Or you could keep the girl in the vase. But you'll have to o water changes every day, or every other day... depends on how big the vase is.
