Smile There's a shrimp in my tank. ._.

I didn't know I was keeping shrimp, but apparently I am. I just accidentally sucked up a tiny little shrimp while I was doing water changes on Robert's tank.

It's a cute little critter. Very tiny, but I'm pretty sure it's some kind of shrimp. I wish I could have gotten photos of it, but I don't know if my camera could have captured him.

Has anyone else suddenly found tiny shrimp in their tank? I hope there's more than one and I can have a little population of them! :D Yay free shrimp!!

OTHER CRITTERS:
Four African Dwarf Frogs - Dorkus, Sporkus, Baron(ess), and Bubbles!

Update: He is not a shrimp. He is a scud, otherwise known as an amphipod. :>

He is still awfully cute. I wonder if I could catch some of these boogers and make a little amphipod tank.

Here's a photo of the type of amphipod I'm talking about.

I'm pretty sure he hitchhiked on a plant I bought from my local aquarium store. I remember seeing him hop off of it (much smaller back then - that was months ago) and thinking, "What was that? Oh well. Robert will eat it". :P

I can't believe he's still alive.

I had a tiny snail once that I got by chance, never found it again, probably I killed it or my fish ate it :C

Also, that thing reminds me of those cockroaches... ewww >_>
