Wait a minute!

*Light Bulb*

If I got more fish like Tetra's or Platies.... *Cough* or Mollies *Cough*

Would I then have to get a bubbler (Or whatever those things are called for putting oxygen in the water)???????????????

Yeah I'm sure the answer is like... "Well DUH!"
But you have to realize I'm the kinda of person who COMPLETELY spaces on things like that and would then tomorrow come on here going. "OMG MY NEW FISH DIED MYSTERIOUSLY!"

yah if theyre not an Air Breathing fish, you would need to add a airstone

if i u want a supercool one.... Petsmart and Petco has the ones that are hidden in the dragons mouth and those comes out the tailside so it looks like smoke or whatever coming out the mouth ... they have them in all sizes..

be warned though the bubbles alone may stress out your betta, if not the motion it creates in the water the surface movement may as well make him unhappy ...

good luck

10g Non Planted
-Red (CT)
-Lucky (goldfish ((wifes fish lol))

DromDrax,

Major oxygenation of the water come from fresh water changes, not bubblers...

(Don't you love how everybody tells you something different here? LOL)

I have green tetras, cory cats and a loach in with my bettas in the 20H sorority. No bubblers. 25%+ water change every week, and everyone is alive and kickin'.

But you can put an airstone in, if you'd like. But its the water changes that matter.

20H: 2 Cory Catfish, One very mellow Cambodian female Betta, Two Golden Veil Angelfish (male and female)

A GOOD! That means the Petsmart lady (Who also owns bettas) knew what she was talking about when she said my tank would be fine.
Plus my filter spits out little bubbles constantly.
Check out my thread in the Compatibility section for my new... Friends for Drax...
