Is three gallons too small for a single ghost shrimp to live with a crowntail?

I figure Kai's pretty small so he wouldn't really be able to have a shrimp snack....Would it be possible to keep a single ghostie in with him?

I'll of course do more research but I do waterchanges on his tank frequently.

I suppose you can if you increase water changes, but you should get at least 3 or your betta will pick on that one to death....I don't suggest adding any companions to anything under 5 gallons though since they will stress one another.

Okay thanks for replying. I probably won't but I was very curious as Kai seems to have endless energy. (I would have called the shrimp trio the Zydrate Brigade if I could get him some to pal around with but I'm not sure how he'd react too well. I know Akira's out of the question he's constantly out for blood. Hopefully in his new tank he'll mellow out.)

also shrimp need areation... not sure if urs is areated... even a waterfall filter adds oxygen to the tank... I have a bunch of them in my 55 gal... never get to see them tho until im vaccuming the bottom, then i gotta make sure i dont suck em up D:

55 Gal-
5 female bettas
5 Plattys
4 Black Skirt Tetras
3 Gold Barbs
3 White Cloud Danios
3 Neon Tetras
6 Ghost Shrimp
1 Chinese Algae Eater
10 Gal- Vamp (CT)
