My girls are so well behaved

I just added 2 loaches and 3 platys (2 female and a male) into my 20gall sorrority.
Not only do my THREE females NOT fight with each other, but when i introduces the platys...they swam up to say hi...then swam away unconcerned. :)

I do plan on getting 1 or 2 more females...just to be SURE no bickerments start.

I only got 2 loaches...do i need to get 2 more?

And yes i DID mean to get a male. The females will reproduce...feeding themselves, the bettas and the loaches with the live fry.

:)

Betta-less at the moment :(

What kind of loaches?

4 is the minimum for kuhlis (if that's what you got), but 6 or more is best.

6.6g planted bookshelf tank -
6 black kuhli loaches, 1 mystery snail
Anubias nana, Java moss

2.5g planted -
2 horned nerite snails
Anubias barteri var. nana 'petite', marimo ball

And a few tropical community and cool water tanks.
