Question Fresh Aquarium Snails

The fish store of my city sells snails. I have some questions about them:

What do they eat? Lettuce, fruits,... ?

As they are male and female at the same time, when do they reproduce and how many eggs can eclode?

Can bettas stay with them and can they survive at 77 Fahrenheit/ 25 Celsius ? Thats the temperature of my aquarium without heaters and its simply perfect.

I will see the answers and MAYBE buy one or two.

Depending on how big your tank is, then they should do well with a betta. They poop more than they clean, so really it's just a choice of whether you're willing to clean up the extra poop or not.

I believe they like to eat algae and plants, so lettuce could work as well, but you'll want to pick up some algae wafers too.

This site has a lot of helpful information for you to go through as well.

what type of snails are they? different types will reproduce differently. like nerites need brackish water for their eggs to be viable. mystery snails will lay eggs above the water line and need a male and a female.

They look like apple ( easy to take care, exactly what petshops need ) BUT I am not sure.
