@Pataflafla
im confused on what you mean.. the tank has some good bacteria and its stable now the only thing is my new plants have been turning transparent and some other forum is helping me with that... but having to re-fill it after dumping it out seem like a pain.. pluss i dont want to loose the suffisiend amount of bacteria collected in it

Well, you don't have to take out all of the water. The bacteria grows on the gravel and plants, so if you give that an inch or two of water, it should be good for any major changes you might have to do.

With 3 bettas you'll need to change out some water weekly to keep ammonia down. A filter will help out with a small amount of ammonia and so will your plants, but they won't take care of everything.

I'd do at least a 50% weekly.

...do you have any air line tubing?. You can syphone the water into an empty gallon jug(i have one i saved from buying bottled water a while back) and just do that. I recently got a 5gallon bucket so it's only two trips back and forth to empty my ten gallon.

You can buy a cheap bucket at walmart in the painting area. Makes water changes easier too.

You will have to recycle it though(probably) if you're emptyingit then dividing it then refilling it.

My wishlist:
-duckweed- -black and white marble, anything but VT-
-javamoss- -koi marble, anything but VT)
-hatchable brine shrimp eggs-
-indian almond leaves-
-Melano Halfmoon male-
-steel blue or royal blue CT or HM female-

yeah but to let the siclicone dry i have to empty the whole tank plus wash it out... i love the idea of three (with my 15g power folter and heater in the middle) but i think it would be to much to handle maybe 2 with a store bought one (the penplex ones that hang) a decore for each side and the new baby.. i might get the 3rd during summer when i have time and when the tank will be empty because i will be headed back home lol
