Yeah the pictures with the shark looking yellow and black fish is the Molly. So do you think the Molly will die because it is in freshwater? (of course I would not want that to happen)
And my tank is a 14 gallon.

Many people keep mollies in freshwater, many keep them in brackish. In the wild, Mollies live in areas that have access to both fresh and brackish (where salt water meets fresh) water. Naturally they can choose which water they prefer to use in the wild. In a fish tank, it's either or. Personally, with so much back and forth online about Mollies and their needs, I refuse to own them. Best thing is to watch your Molly and see how well it is doing in your tank. If it's not thriving, might be best to return for another freshwater fish, or set up a brackish Molly only tank.

I think my Molly is fine with freshwater.
It swims around curiously with the Platies and is always the first one to ask for food. It is not afraid of me at all and is very active. :)

So I just wanted to add that today I walked past the tank to find at least 5 fry hiding in the plants!
As far as I know their mother is the normal Mickey Mouse Platy, as she is the one that seems to stick around and chasing away the other adults. :)

If you look at the Aluyasha's pictures (the ones on the first page) you can see the filter in the back of the tank on the left hand side.

The fry seem fine with the current. And since I noticed them I have been overfeeding the adults a little so the food falls down for the babies.
I am sure most of the ones I saw will make it, their mother is very protective. :)
