my ghosties have BABIES!!!

from all i have read (and believe me, i've done extensive research), ghost shrimp fry cannot survive in a standard tank setup.. it's simply not briny enough. however.. this evening, as i was preparing to do my standard clean-out-old-food-before-feeding thing, i notice some debris floating around. or at least i thought it was debris.. until i grabbed my camera and focused the zoom on it.. and lo! babies!!
i think i'm gonna need a bigger tank soon..

Cool. Mine just had babies too. They are so cute, I love them

16 gallon - 11 neon tetras, 6 Pygmy cories, 6 kuhli loaches and 1 male Betta
15 gallon - 1 male Betta, 3 platies, and 5 guppies
6 gallon - 1 male Betta

All planted tanks

In My Opinion a Betta deserves nothing smaller than a 5 gallon tank

that is awesome!
I know several of my ghosties had the uhm.. eggs they were carrying when I got them, no sign of little ones, that I Can tell.
How hard was it to notice them? *suspects that if any hatched they would be eaten by the seven girls patrolling her tank* I'm just super curious

i thought they were bits of shell from old molts floating around until i saw one sort of "squiggle". that's when i grabbed my camera so i could use the zoom. gonna be super careful on my cleanups now.. hope i didn't accidentally "clean" any of 'em out already

Congratulations! I hear they are much harder to keep the fry alive than with RCS, so good (accidental) job! :p

Life.
