Filling my 20Gal.

So i have a 20 gallon tank that's well planted with a filter and heater.

The tank contains 2 female VT and a pleco.

There was 4 females, but the other 2 died.

Aside from more females(which i will be purchasing soon), what kind of fish can i stick in there with them?
The heater in my tank is automatically set to 78F.

I'd be really thankful for the help!

What is the substrate? And is it a bristlenose pleco or just the common pleco?

Definitely depends on what kind of pleco you have in there. The common ones grow enormous and really aren't at all suitable for the average fish owner.

A group of corydoras is probably the most ideal, depending on the tank footprint and substrate. Because they are bottom-level swimmers, your females are probably less inclined to pick at them.

However, some tetras or rasbora could also work depending on how aggressive your females are. Since females have smaller fins, they are not going to be as attractive targets for fin-nipping.

I'm not sure of the plecos kind, though my mom offered to allow it a new home in our 75g. He isn't very big and hes pretty old.

I have gravel in my tank.
