Wink 2 Betta Females in What Kind of Tank?

I really don't think that I am going to be able to keep any more than a 5gal. tank, but what else will I need besides the basics. I want to keep a veiltail and a halfmoon female together. Do you think that this will work? How can I build a divider in case they fight?

No no no :p All their aggression needs to be spread out over several girls.
Unless they were siblings that were never separated, no :p
Just build a divider right away, lmfao.

taking a break from fish-keeping.
3 lovely male betta still keep me company.

Female Bettas are best in groups og 5+ and in 10g+. If you only have a 5g tank and cannot upgrade/get more females... it's best to just divide the tank into two from the beginning :) That way, there is no fatalities :)

Agreed with the others. With two girls, the more aggressive will either harass the other to death, or just outright kill her. Divide the tank, that way you can have both and there's no risk to either.

I agree with the above people, divide, divide, divide! :)

1 Male ~ 5 Females
3 Bronze Cories
1 Hamster
Soon, 1 cornsnake!
