stocking ideas for 29 gallon

i have ideas of what i want in my 29 gallon sorority...its not set up or even starting to cycle- i'm still in dream phase lol. so i'm playing with AqAdvisor. this is what i came up with today:

Equipments:
Tank (LxDxH): 30 x 12 x 18 inch (28.1gUS)
Filters: Aquaclear 30

Selected species: [Edit Species]
6 x Betta [Female] (Betta splendens)
6 x Panda Cory (Corydoras panda)
6 x Harlequin Rasbora (Trigonostigma heteromorpha)
6 x Blue Pearl Shrimp (Neocaridina cf. zhangjiajiensis var. blue)

the filter i picked on there is just one i was looking at online- not sure if that's the way i'll be going. for the fish to go with the bettas, i only know for sure i want the corys- species could be panda or otherwise, i'm not sure today x3
as far as the shrimp go- i like the idea of the blue shrimp, but i'd be fine with red cherry too. do you guys have any opinions? the tank will also be heated, with silk and live plants.

If you decided to stick with the Blue Pearl Shrimp, make sure there are PLENTY of tiny places for them to hide in. I tried to add Cherry Shrimp to my sorority but they were all eaten :(. I also have Amano and Ghosts, so i know i had enough hidey holes. I think they were eaten because they were easier to see and keep track of because they are red.
