Which one of These Tanks Would you Choose?

My mom is buying me a new tank for my birthday (I'm 13) and trying to choose one. I want a designer tank, one of the cool looking little ones. Also it can't be too expensive, less than $100 is good. It can't be too big either, because my room is small and my 29 gallon takes up almost all space I have. I was thinking:
Fluval Chi 5 Gallon Aquarium Kit - http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=4232279
Aqueon Evolve 2 - http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...uctId=11959702
Aqueon Evolve 4 - http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...uctId=11959703
Aqueon Evolve 8 - http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...uctId=11959704

You can link me to other tanks, it doesn't have to be petsmart either. You can do Amazon.

I love the look of the evolve. I would say bigger is better because well your going to have a couple inches from the top anyway unless you plan on getting a cover or something to deter from jumping. :)

I would go with the evolve 4 or 8 gallon. I think they look alot nicer then the Fuluvial Chi. I really do not like the looks of the chi. It looks....odd to me.

I love the water change advice they give for the evolve 4 gallon:

Quote:
Only change 25% of the water once per month; never empty the water all at once
The fluval edge is spiffy looking but its over $100 however Free 2 days shipping on amazon
Price: $119.99 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping.

Have you seen the fluval flora and Fluval ebi? They are about 8 gallons, have an awesome background. With tax they'd be a bit over $100.
The flora comes with lots of live plant stuff, the ebi comes with some shrimp stuff, like food. I'd go for the flora unless you want to raise shrimp.

With any of those tanks you are going to need something to put over the top as betta are jumpers. Bigger is always better, so I would go with the 8 gal and only fill it up with 5 gallons.

The fluval chi, and probably the other ones have a lid to put on the top.. It costs like "$10 separate, but it's already they perfect shape for that weird thing on top of the chi.

taking a break from fish-keeping.
3 lovely male betta still keep me company.

It doesn't have to be a betta. If I was getting the Evolve 2, I was going to raise shrimp. I don't put bettas in anything under 3 gallons.

I've never had a betta jump, or even my goldfish. In the evolve photos, they really fill their tanks.. I usually leave about 1" to 1 1/2" of air.

If you keep them long enough, you will. My goldfish don't jump as they are fancies and too heavy to propel themselves very far, but I have had two betta wind up on the floor and two jump a divider. Betta are jumpers.
