Well, when I say uncommon, what I mean is that I go to the petstore and they have around 30 bettas. Half will be veiltails. Another 10 will be crowntails. The last 5 will be "Other". Of the 10 crowntails, a couple will be multiple rays. So: You can walk into the petstore and probably buy one, so fairly common. But they aren't by any means a large portion of what is available. That makes sense in my head

Also, each of our babies is a unique dancing fishy snowflake

Zucca, my orange/green CT, is a double ray. Honestly they aren't that rare, but they are quite striking. I love finding double double ray CTs - four rays on each branch instead of two.

They are more beautiful than regular CT's.

Open your eyes
Now is the time

With darkness we'll still shine

my green/blue CT is isnt a single ray CT, my pineapple CT is also the same case. ray but its less prominant. both have healing fins to get used to the local harder water. the grizzle ct definetly doesnt show it now as fin rot got to the caudal.

They're not rare at all. All I see are DR CTs. DDR (4) are a bit less common but again nothing too rare.

Who am I? Well I am a Junior Member of the International Betta Congress and a breeder of white HMPKs, red dragon HMPKs, black/red dragon HMPKs, metallic multi HMPKs, blue masked HMPKs, and now multi color HMs. Soon to add black HMs. I will be showing in New Breeder class in fall of 2012.
