Fun foods for bettas?

What are some "human foods" that would be acceptable for bettas? You read that oscars can eat cucumbers slices, and I was wondering if our foods were safe for bettas?

Nothing, really. Peas for one. It's 'supposed' to be for bloat. Only feed VERY small amounts. Hardly anything at all. it's only for bloat so you can't use it now, sorry. Nothing. My dad had an Oscar before. :)

How about shrimp used on salads? I heard that was okay? I was just hoping there was more out there...

I don't think it's OK. Not even chicken.

I feed my bettas a VERY occasional treat of cooked plain shrimp. They absolutely love it. As long as it's plain, it should be fine to feed them pieces about the size of a betta pellet. I see no problem feeding them shrimp as long as you are careful how much you feed them.

sometimes fish too. but since I dont eat fish all that often, I've only done it once. I pick off a bit about the size of a bloodworm and feed this to my fish.
