Open your eyes
Now is the time
To rise up
With darkness we'll still shine

My halfmoon does that too, it's funny to watch. I do think it's cause he has SO much finnage, it's easier to wiggle like that instead of try to swim like a normal fish!

Baby Buddha(M VT) ~ Oddball (M-DeTxHM)~ Little Chai ~ Lucky(F oto)

I seem to have a problem with collecting things with scales and fins. Oops

Buddha is gorgeous!! Kudo swims like that sometimes when he gets really hyper, he'll go all over his 10 gallon just bouncing around lol.

Yeah, the only one of my guys who does that is Wystan. Probably cause he's got the longest and fullest tail and it's an easier way to get around. Mags has a little plakat tail and Padan is a crowntail with a less full tail.

Wystan -- Pastel DeltaT Male -- 3 gallon
Abel Magwitch -- Wild-type RT King Male -- 20-gallon divided
Unnamed -- Red Butterfly? HM Male -- 20-gallon divided

Loki -- American Eskimo Dog -- 8 years
Kiara -- "Domesticated" Feline -- 5 years
Horatio -- Hermit Crab -- 5 years?

That's cute! My crowntail has always swam like that, clamping his fins down and zooming around. I kind of laugh to think bettas are supposed to be "slow" swimmers. Iv actually has some drag tears where his fins connect to his body, so I'm keeping an eye on those in case they get any larger.

Um....

Anyone else have one that does this? o.O
My newest betta does that! He seemed kind of agitated compared to my others, so it was hard to tell! He is doing well though, starting to eat etc., so I guess he is just spirited!
