Colors of wild betta slpendens

So I know I have asked a similar question before, but do wild betta splendens have a blue/black body, and half blue half red fins?

29G - 1 orange fantail goldfish "Goldeen"

That seems to be the more common colour but the body can also have some green in them. I don't really know how more to describe it haha. Maybe someone will elaborate

Easy come, easy go.

They're brown with some blue and some red. Generally just brown.

Who am I? Well I am a Junior Member of the International Betta Congress and a breeder of white HMPKs, red dragon HMPKs, black/red dragon HMPKs, metallic multi HMPKs, blue masked HMPKs, and now multi color HMs. Soon to add black HMs. I will be showing in New Breeder class in fall of 2012.

Here's some pictures of them from the IBC website.

It's hard sometimes with wild splendens as nowadays I think a lot of the 'pure' wild lines have been hybridised with domesticated fish.

Wilds generally really colour up nicely in proper conditions. My wilds are a richer colour in general than my normal splendens.
