And that dorm room sure looks familiar. I'm guessing you go to a SUNY school?
And yes, I do! I go to New Paltz :D
And as for the supplies, I've brought my whole arsenal with me, except the bag of Epsom salt. Instead I just put it in a small tupperware with me. :)

Ahhh, New Paltz. It looks like they had the same dorm designer as SUNY Plattsburgh did. Good luck with fish and the dorm life. How is your roommate handling it? I know some people do not like the sounds of filters and whatnot.

BettaSmart: My personal blog dedicated to ending the myths and misconceptions on Betta fish care through educational articles. Topics range from basic care to raising awareness about the dangerous marketing practices in the fish world.

Thanks :)
And she's actually the one who went with me to get Buddha, so she understands. also, she sleeps at home with a noise canceller so the filter makes no sound to her. Also, the filter doesn't really make much noist itself. It's just a REALLY low hum. And then compare that to the garbage/delivery trucks at 6am -.-

Your bed is 3-4 feet LONG? not wide?? Half of my legs would be hanging off of it! (I'm 6 feet tall. lol)

And whoops XD
After sleeping in it, I can tell you its a little bit below 6 feet. I'm 5'5 and can barely fit -,- Plus, the filter pump thing is on my bed post so I have to hang off to not kick it off.

The bed is maybe 2-3 feet wide, so that doesnt give much wiggle room either...
