Deltas

Does anyone knows were can i get a delta halfmoon in chicago or any local breeders

I noticed my Sammy getting a lil heavy in the fin area..lol..and he is really pushing through the water, so I am seeing some struggling, and more recently I noticed some missing tail..gee, I wonder why..he must of been nommin, but the weight is in the anal fin..that is like a heavy coat..I can see how much it drags..he is a HMDT:) my poor baby, but he is fine, active and eating like a champ!!

I'm very surprised my delta doesn't nip his fins, he could chew them off very easily if he wanted to, I guess I better count our blessings

There's no such thing as a delta halfmoon. the definition of a halfmoon is if its tail is 180 degrees. Delta tails have to be less than 180 degrees to be considered delta.

That's another reason I like VTs. The average one doesn't seem too heavily finned...
