I must save her!

Im at the petshop now and my only intention was to get crickets for our reptiles...then I saw her in this dirty cup :(... So shes coming home with me!

Weird how that one cup has so much algae and nastiness.

She is very pretty. I look forward to seeing pictures of her in clean water.

It really saddens me that these poor creatures are left to fendnfor themselves in such conditions, and yes I think she has been in there awhile. The price tag was dated 5/17/12 and by the looks of the water, it doesnt suprise me. Shes home now and settling in her tank. Its actually Nippys first tank. I wish I had the money to get her a bigger tank/accessories right now but hopefully she will be ok in this 1 gal for a few weeks. I will post her pic up in the betta pics section. Gotta think of a name for her too

Poor little girl so sweet of you to take her and save her ! Why do they keep Betta like this in such dirty water, dont they know they would sell more if the water is nice and clean so the true beauty of the Betta can be seen !!!! I just dont get it , whats wrong with these places, its like they ignore these awesome fish and it makes me sick!

Thanx guys for your comments :) . I do feel better about getting her out of that nasty cup. Thankfully hers was the only cu that was filthy. I cant understand why she was forsaken...

I cant understand it either..smh..if I could I would rescue them all. Bad enuff they hafta stay in little plastic cups!
