Over-emotional about betta's dying

Jaw died and I am sobbing, well lady issues is making it worse. Am I over-emotional about him dying?

No, especially when hormones are involved, a girl can't help it HUGZ

If you are still sobbing by next week that would be a problem. Of course just being sad is OK any time

I feel like it's my fault. But at least he lived a good few weeks with me

It's normal to be sad/cry when a pet dies; I always have. I haven't had a fish die with me yet, though, but I'm sure I'll be heartbroken then, too. His death wasn't your fault. It's always helpful to see that you gave your pet a happy life (no matter how long exactly). I'm sure your fish is glad he lived with you because you probably cared for him properly.
