So i placed my new betta (patrick) CT infrontof a mirror, because i heard it was good for them if you put them or a couple of minutes..He has been there 20 minutes and has not once flared...I wonder why? Blaze my first CT flares at everyone nd evrything..i might consider giving him tank mates..what to do think?

Some betta's flare and some don't. It's normal

Hi.

Bettas are very AGRESSIVE, territorial fish that ENJOY being solitary. They are fighting fish, and need they're space. They can e]injure other fish, and just like my alone. They are solitary, and enjoy being so.

I put a plant in my tank, and my betta attacked it.

although, betta's can be mild, most are tempermental. If YOUR betta seems mild, he may not be with other fish. If your betta seems really mild, and you really want tankmates, no fish bigger than him and none with bright colors or long fins.
