Gone For A Week

So I'm going to be gone for a week and don't know how my fish will fair. I'm leaving this thursday but before I go I'm cleaning the tank. Won't be home until next Thursday or Friday. The fish will not be fed that whole time and they are only getting a 25% on Saturday, should they be fine?

Six days is a bit of a push! >__< I've heard stories of people leaving their fish alone for three days and they're okay, and then they were fed on the fourth day. I've never heard of a fish being left along for six days. Do you have an automatic feeder (or are you willing to invest in one), or someone who would be willing to come by and check on your little ones to make sure they get some food? :<

I think Aquarius could deal without food for a week but my younger female is still growing so I do worry about her. I considered bringing them with me but I am not sure.

well whatever it is. decide today so you can be prepared for it. and last minuteness on this issue could turn out pretty nasty. especially catching fish, bagging/cupping fish. making sure you have all the stuff...dechlor, heater, tank(?) food etc. i'd say bring a power strip too...

I'm thinking my band mate who is staying back will care for them. I have a list for him of things to do and am calling in daily to make sure eh does them. It would be less stress on them I think long run and they will go a few days without food so their tanks stay clean longer and he won't have to change the water so much.
