Post What 'kind' of betta fish is he?

I could never figure it out, the shape of his tail is kind of square and it never grows out more than that. XD I think they were selling veil tails from where I got him and I know he's not a crowntail though they tried to sell him as a crowntail because he ripped his fins up so badly from the 'little tiny tank dividers' they're supposed to use for getting fish out of the tank- he lived in them at meijers.

But, yeah its a mystery to me. Any help? :)

From the picture it is a little harder to tell.. I would say it is either a Delta Tail or a Veiltail. I'm leaning towards a delta tail though. He has nice colors btw. From the video, the betta there is a veiltail for sure. I couldn't tell if the video is your signature or not lol so I evaluated that as well.

I would get silk plants if I were you, plastic can rip tails very easily.

Also he looks like a delta tail

he's a delta tail, but with strong VT in his background...look at the long, thin dorsal. it looks a lot more like what you'd expect on a VT than anything from the HM family of tail types.

So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
'Cause there's bugger-all down here on Earth.

Thanks. I used to own real plants but there were a huge huge huge major problem in my tank and I can't have any again. I tested my fake plants here really well and so far there are no problems at all. I'm watching him carefully however.... :)

Yeah I do :) I actually think it'd be fun trading fish, they all have SUCH different personalities and i'm wondering what's all out there still :) :)
